Apollo PTA sponsored Programs/Events during the 2019-2020 school year:

AUGUST:

School Supplies Sales - We sell 7th and 8th grade school supply packets, PTA memberships - with special Student Rewards, and spirit wear during schedule pickup.

 

SEPTEMBER:

Glow Dance - Friday, September 6th.  All Apollo students welcome to attend. Make sure you bring your current Student ID to the dance.Tickets may be purchased using our Online Store.

 

Open House - Monday, September 23rd @ 5:15 pm.  We kickoff the Open House event with our first Member Meeting of the school year.  Afterward, you will have the opportunity to 'walk' your child's schedule; so, make sure to bring their teacher names/room numbers.

 

OCTOBER:

National Walk to School Day - Wednesday, October 2nd.  We encourage everyone to walk to school.  Our goal is to support healthy lifestyle choices and making sure we have safe walking habits and routes to and from school.

 

Meet-n-Greet RISD Board Candidates - Thursday, October 3rd @ 6 pm.  The event will be help at the Richardson ISD PDC building on Beltline Road in the Auditorium.  701 W. Beltline Rd, 75081

 

Vision and Hearing screenings - Wednesday, October 9th.  The PTA supports the nurses and volunteers who help with the vision and hearing screenings at Apollo.  We have lunch provided for the team from Chick-fil-A of Richardson Square.

 

STEAM Academy Family Picnic in the Park - Wednesday, October 30th @ 5:00 pm - Bring your entire family to meet the rest of the Apollo family.  This is a night of relaxation and fun!  We encourage you to bring chairs or a blanket for your picnic.  Bahama Bucks treats will be available for purchase.

 

Supporting RISD PTA Clothes Closet for those RISD students affected by the recent storms.  Please bring new underwear, shoes, and or toiletries to the collect bin at the picnic.
